Default Harley Holding On

According to this article, Harley Davidson is not doing so bad in the market and it's attempt to restructure it's buisness. http://www.fool.com/investing/genera...-not-cash.aspx

Local news has the company planning to cut 1400 more jobs in Wisconsin. So the take on good or bad news about restructuring kind of depends on whether you'll be losing your job or not.

RE: cuts - painful, but necessary. The article makes an interesting point that the company probably wont get eaten by a private equity firm because its managing its business well. Either current management has to do it, or their stock will bottom out and they will get sold to a "chop shop". I like what they are doing. A healthy Harley Davidson is good for everyone.
