Something is shorting out causing your fuse to blow. Get a multimeter and check your associated wires for good ohmes. Wire to wire you shouldn't have anything if you do they are shorted to each other. Or you could have a bad ground, see if they share a common ground.

Yep what you say is true... but there must be a zillion wires inside a fairing... I did do a careful examination, but never did find the problem. Hope it stays away for a while longer

I am having the same problem with an 06 Dyna Low Rider. I have an appointment with my dealer in a couple of weeks but would sure be nice to get it fixed sooner if anyone has any suggestions.

real simple take it to the dealer 9 out of 10 will fix it warranty or not and guess what if they don`t pay them to do it it really is that simple

Not so simple when your dealer is backed up a couple of weeks and you need your bike for transportation.
