Default wheels

i have 2004 fatboy stock. i want to change wheels and was wondering how big of a wheel can i go with in rear without any mods?

18x4.25 ,with a 160 wide tyre with no mods,your struts and fenders stop you going wider! your standard width is 3.5 i think?

Does the same width go for a night train with stock rear fender, that will be dropped 2 inches?
