I wear safety toe shoes/boots most everyday while working. Between that and the fact that I like to feel the bike shifter. No I dont like them while riding myself.

I guess I'm the only one wearing Brahmas, a hiking-looking boot with thinsulate and steel toes. Warm in winter and so far, not bad in summer. No shifter problems. It's not a little 'clik' like a jap bike anyway.

I wear my Doc Martin's with the steel toe all the time... Course, steel toes are kinda required at work and I do ride to work most times.
