Default Removing these custom riser

Probably a dumb question and not sure where this thread should be, but here it is. I bought a used Sportster last year. The original owner had many modifications done to the bike; one in particular is the riser. I am planning to change the current drag bar to ape handlebars, but my problem is removing the current bars.
The risers are made by Choppers Inc, .44 mag style.
My question has anyone or does anyone know how you remove the top cap so I that the riser bolts are exposed and I can remove the handlebars?
I appreciate any help.

NSCoyote- I actually removed the riser with the drag bars still on, to look underneath, and did not see any small screw that will help me remove the cap. I’m close to buy a set of risers and not worry about this problem. It will be better on my wallet if I can reuse the risers.

95cutmz- I can try to pry out but on the JPCYCLE website, where the current owner bought the riser, is says there is a concealed stud that will help remove the cap. It’s really concealed, cause I can find it!!!!!!

Try twisting my hand. A lot of those risers just have a stud from the top of the riser to the cap that you twist off.

Here are some pics of my risers.....Unless I need to use a grip tool, it is really hard to twist the cap....Might be too small, took them with my phone.

looks like there is a seam right below the decorative portion, that may be where it unthreads, try a strap wrench on that to see if it unscrews

Yep, JP says the top is held by a "concealed mounting stud" - I found this online "The part with the shells has a thread in the middle. They then turn down on a allen screw. when you remove them, there are 2 other allen screws which hold the pieces of the risers down around your bars. I have the Choppers, In.c ones & they work really well, no issues." Looks like the whole top part with the brass may screw onto a threaded stud underneath and you ahve to unscrew it to get to the clamp bolts.

That goes along with NSCoyote's suggestion to try unscrewing the top part.

Either way, be careful and you can make back some of your money by selling those on Ebay.
