risers on wide glide?

risers on wide glide?

i'm thinking about getting a set of risers for my 06 wide, probably 4" or 6" straight (not pull back). has anyone done this? will it look weird w/ the stock mid apes? Any pics of risers on wide glides?

I'd like to get some apes, but kinda want to see how i like the bars w/ risers first.

also, does anyone know the diameter of the stock bars on an 06 wide glide? or any suggestions of good risers for a wide glide?

I don't think it will necessarily look weird, but 6" risers with apes (even mini-apes) will exert tremendous leverage on the risers. I'm not sure I'd trust them. You don't have that much slack in your brake and clutch cables anyway, so why not just go for broke and put the apes on?

Stock bars are 1" OD. Stock Night Train risers are 6" tall.
