That is a great idea! I would have never thought to do this. Thanks. This is why I love this site.

Great pics, Jake. I'm a visual kind of guy (picture books instead of words, ha ha) so this is perfect. Thanks!

I tie the strap tails to the strap in half hitches. I tie the front wheel to the pingle. I use a wrap of duck tape around the ratchet mechanisms and all hooks. I put eight straps to each bike and I use hog ties and soft wraps. I allow the suspension to work up and down while controlling sideways motion. Some bounce but not a whole lot of wobble. Just the way I do it--might be over kill but hauling two HD's in a 12x6 covered trailer requires a plan. Just last week I saw a bike on an open trailer with the jiffy stand down and just two straps tied to the end of the bars near the grips. The bike was tied by the handle bars leaning on the jiffy stand. Don't know if his bike made it--we were headed in different directions.

Wheel chock users must still learn to tie ALL straps to pull forward into the chock. Should the front ties fall the rear ones will pull the bike out of the chock.

Check with Condor instructions.

Hmm, good point, I had not considered that, thanks!

Might be a bit of over kill but when i do trailer, I put towo seperate soft strap, two rachet straps, and two eye bolts on each side of the bikes. Should one just happen to let go or rip, the bike will still be ok.
