i actually dont complain....
and you guys are the asshats in the cagers most likley...
yall have completely shown your colors as to how you behave on the roads...
the 4 or so posts to me have shown you guys cant stand it when someone is a bit slower than you want to be going and feel that you own the roads.. and feel the need to tell others how they should ride or drive....
so if i am going slower than you like.. you guys gunna run up on me, honk and throw **** at me? seems so...
lol....
awe so sweet....all of you acting like you know me...
did you guys come up with *** hat and boyfriend in middle school..... or did you think of it all by your selves?
If i am in your so called passing lanes..... not called that here....
and i am going faster than the limit, and am passing slower vehicles on the right....
well then it seems I am passing now, doesnt it...
Am i allowed to ride on the roads now..
or are you asshats gong to throw marbles at me while you are in your cagers driving like maniacs?
Here's what you do. Keep a box of sugar cubes on you at all times. Ride up beside this dude and when he's not looking flip open his gas cover, then carefully reach over and unscrew his gas cap. Make sure you do this when his attention is diverted, maybe even have someone ride to the shoulder and distract him. Then slip a few cubes in his gas tank. Make sure you return the cap and wipe off any finger prints in case he catches a glimpse of you. Then ride off laughing. (End sarcasm)
On a serious note, just let him go by thinking he got the best of a biker. Bike vs car is a no win for the bike.
Oh, and riding the speed limit or even 5 mph over in the passing lane is a good way to **** off most drivers out there. Not cool, not cool at all.
all i am saying is cagers are crazy.... i goooooooo in the left lane.. and when i go .. I go... not once have i mentioned i go slow.....
i look out for my safety.... not how many people want to drive excessively fast...
I ride offensively, to protect myself....
riding in the left lane on a hwy at above hwy speeds is the best safest way....
if i am going above 70 and you want to be doing 90.. then pass me.....
call me names all you want... make fun...
but im good, im happy, im safe.. and obviously have no issues telling you., or with you guys at all...
but call me names and be maniac cagers, as the op has posted...
but know this..
while you are in your cagers driving like maniacs?
The sad part is, you don't even realize that you're a road hazard. There are too many people on the road like you that really haven't a clue how to drive. You simply navigate down the road with blinders on and assume that others will get out of your way.
I think the best way to deal with a dangerous driver is to get as far away from them as fast as you safely can. If I do anything at all, I follow them from a safe distance and wait until they stop somewhere and have a conversation with that person while we are not moving down the road.
I also agree that a big smile works better than flipping the bird or yelling in anger. When I have a near miss, I try to focus on staying safe and avoiding an accident instead of doing something that is likely to put me back in danger.
