Default How do you remove a patch?

Bought a jacket dirt cheap from a friend who lost his nerve and quit riding. Only thing is it has a 10 inch patch on the back I'd like to remove.

Any suggestions?

Small knife or scissors, cut the threads and hope it wasn't glued on as well.

If it's sewn on, you can remove it fairly easily wit a stitch ripper. Cheap little thing. You can also do it with a razor blade. Pull it up a hair & cut a stitch or two & it will open up to where you can continue cutting the stitches without damaging the leather.

If it's glued on...You're screwed.

cut the stitches very careful with a razor blade...if the jacket is worth a damn, it will be fine
