You will get a million different answers. Go to the dealer on a busy Saturday or to a bike night and have a listen to bikes coming and going. Sound is too subject to each individual.

Plus, go to the "Touring Models" section of this forum and do a seach. You could read for weeks!

Now for my $0.02...classic Harley sound, deep with a moderate rumble...SuperTrapp SE pipes.

when you put these slip ons on the bike do you have to do anything to the motor or just put them on and go

Pumba11 hit the nail on the head. That was good advice. Great way to here what various ones sound like.

Personally I like Rush. This is my second bike with them.

You should not need to modify anything if you are just doing slip-ons. If you put a hi-flow air filter on, then you might want to think about a Power Commander etc.
