I've seen the same thing once this year, but he was on a Fatboy.God dang softailers!
What could be so important that one would have to be on a cell phone while riding?
had a bbq this afternoon for my grandmother's birthday and my cousin's boyfriend was looking at the bikes in my backyard and made a comment to my dad and me:
the only reason i wouldn't get a bike is i'd miss too many texts from jessica (my cousin) when i was riding...have either of you guys ever texted while you're riding?
my dad just walked away and i said to the guy very nicely, "eric, i don't think a bike is for you..."
only solution is to get rid of all the damn cell phones.
I ride with some people that can stick their phones in there helmet and drive down the rd going 70 and they are talking the whole time
I have done this, but don't make it a habit. I would never even attempt to hold a cell phone and ride a bike. The phone will stay in place up in my helmet, and after the call I leave it until the next stop.
I am not surprised by much of anything anymore. I have seen far too many weird things already.
Now why are the Dyna guys ( are they really Harleys) drinking the hateraide and ragging on us bagger dudes? Look, I got my gps, my ipod, my coffee holder, my cold drink holder, my bluetooth, and my radio and CB going. How can I hear that damn cell phone ring? One day you'll mpove up to a real bike and people will be hating on you tooo.
Just kidding !
Seriously I'd like to ban cell phones from use by any driver of a vehicle. The drunks are bad enoough but Suzy Creamcheese at 16 on her cell phone texting and driving with her knees is getting a bit too frequent.
