Default Lose Sickshooter

OK, I really hate doing this but I feel it is time to vent a little. I won the May Sickshooter Giveaway and was told I would be receiving a set of the axle nut covers. I was really excited because I had been eyeing them for awhile. I emailed my info and patiently waited. That was on May 1st. Somewhere around the the end of May I emailed Vtwin to check on the status of my axle nut covers. I was told that they would contact Evan at Sickshooter to see what was up. Somewhere around the 1st of June I emailed Sickshooter but never got an answer so I called them a couple days later. They said that they needed to clarify something with Vtwin and they would get right back to me. I called them a couple times more before being contacted by Vtwin stating that there had been a mistake and that I would be receiving the "valve stem caps" instead. Well, I'm really disappointed because I really wanted the Axle Cap Covers and that is what I registered to win. The axle nut covers are around $79.95 compared to the $15.00 valve stem caps. But instead of fussing I just sat back again to wait for the delivery. Well here it is, the 12th of June and I still don't have them. I wonder if they treat their paying customers the same as they have treated me. I would never do business with a company like this and I think VtwinTalk should lose them as a sponser. I really don't care now if I get the parts or not. You can't see the valve stem caps on a bagger anyway. I think they sould have stuck with the original "Axle Nut Covers" to begin with. It seems that it would be better policy for them to eat the added expense than to **** off a potential customer. What if you registered to win a fatboy and they tried to give you a sportster. Would you go back to that dealer!

Terry

This Post is not a slam on VtwinTalk, just one of their sponsers

O-k Terry, now really say what you're thinking. I agree if you start a contest with a specific prize, then it should be that, unless you agree to an equal/like prize. You know it's hard enough to win a contest, looks like it's even harder to get the prize.

Okay Terry, are you putting down the obese males or are you calling Sporty's "girl's bikes??? Let's cut out the flames! <G>
I agree with you 100%. I'm currently having some major troubles with a company but I am giving them one more chance before I give them a bad review to the Forum, but I may also be ranting by the end of the week.
BTW, Sorry, I didn't get there Sat., my wife got a flat tire Sat. morn, then we got into a little spat, Anyway by the time we got that settled and waited for WallyWorld to finish putting on her new tire, it was 2:30 so I called it off and took a nap. Can you believe that WalMart took about 2 1/2 hours (that is rare, but they were very busy) they called me and asked WHAT tire I asked for??? I told him and the guy said, That's what I thought, but that's not what I wrote down, so I wanted to check.
Guess lot's of people had bad days Sat. Hope yours wasn't. Art

Terry, I won the first giveaway and it took a long time to get the valve stem caps. That's what they advertised so I understand your complaint there, but it did take quite awhile to get the caps. I emailed Evan and when he did get back to me, he said they were on their way. It took about another week after that for them to get through the mail. Hope you get things worked out.

I bought a pair of the stem caps after I was robbed... err I mean after I didnt win the first give away. They were shipped pretty quick. But if all youve said is true then they are ruining their rep here.
