My wife and I are going for the first time this year. We are leaving sometime the afternoon of the 4th. We are in North Carolina, so we will have a great ride out! And we are really ready to ride!!! Can't wait.
3 to 4 of us leaving from Bastrop, LA on August 7th to arrive in Sturgis at the Chip on August 9th. Going up through AR, MO, IO, and into SD. 1300 miles one way. If anybody wants to team up with us at the start or along the way, let me know. The more the merrier. Everybody have a safe ride and look forward to seeing you all there.
Yep, I plan on leaving SW MI. on July 10 and will arrive on the 12th. It will be my first return trip in 10 years!! I am taking my time and looking forward to enjoying the ride, and I will meet up with my brother there and it will be his first time going.
I'm looking forward to it!
I am planning on HOT weather, RAIN, and some stormy COLD weather for the week as thats what is normally to be expected during bike week. But over-all, I'm definitely looking forward to it!
Go if you can,
Ron.
I'm not a Vet, but would love to meet and travel with ya. We're leaving Southern Oregon 7-31 and going up thru Idaho to Calgary then down to Sturgis. Let me know if you will be in the area and want traveling partners. If it looks like we could hook up, I'll give you my cell number.
Randy,
Thanks for the offer Randy, it sounds like you guys are leaving earlier then I can get away. Now that return trip may be another matter... when do you guys plan on leaving Sturgis?
