Never been and never regretted not going. In fact, if I didn't see it mentioned on these forums, I wouldn't even know it was happening. But if it gives a boost to your life, go for it and have a good time.

Ignore the naysayers and the ones that cant go cause the boss wont let them off work or the actual truth (the ole woman says no) . Go enjoy yourself, I'm going to be leaving S/E Indiana about a week before just to enjoy the ride. Who knows we may cross paths.
