WOW!! GypsyLady, you are the toughest 1 armed bitch in the world!! And I mean it in the kindest way! I remember reading your story and seeing the pics from your accident way back.I felt terrible about what happened to you.Your guts and determination to just ride again,on TWO wheels,is off the fooking charts!! You could've easily hopped on a trike or one of those Can Am things but noooooo your going rigid with big cubes!Simply awesome you are!!
Glad to hear you are making the best out of it. I have seen guys ride with only one leg a few different times. They sure don't give you a whole lot for loss of limb. I had a index finger crushed on the job and they gave me $11,000 for it. It still works a little but will never be the same. It looks like you will be getting one hell of a nice scoot.
I just saw something on the forum today that might work for you. It was a set up that combines the front and rear brakes so they both work off the rear brake pedal. Im sure you can find it if you do a search. It's always good to have options.

Actually, I found the twin cylinder set-up on a disabled biker forum out of the UK. There are several folks running this set-up & I hear good things.

Thanks for the compliments! I'll hardly be the first. As far as the bike, this will be my last & the first from scratch. Since I'm calling the shots & my builder has all kinds of talent, I'm settin' her up the way I always dreamed! (She'll even have a skeletal FU finger on the bitch bar to comemmorate my lost one.)
As to the weight, she'll probably weigh less than my '02 Sporty & she'll definitely sit lower. Marcus tells me she already feels like she'll be great handling...And I like LOTS of ponies!
