Default Kuryakyn Plug and Play...

Looking for a mount for my wifes sporty to put a sissy bar on. She already has saddle bags on, and I notices that Kuryakyn makes an under the seat plate, that the sissy bar mounts right into. The question I have is if I buy a tall sissy bar for her, is it going to be solid enough to mount a T-Bag to? It reads in the description that it is more for passenger purposes (and the bag is likely lighter than any passenger), but just wondering if its worth the money, or should go with side plates. Seems like an easy way to get the bar on and off....anybody with experience with these the insight would be appreciated.

Default Plug and Play

I had one for awhile... was good for a backrest, but nothing more. They put a warning sticker on the thing saying not to put a tall sissy bar on it... My guess is that putting alot of weight high up will snap the welds. Ended up going with removeable sideplates...

That was my gut instinct, and the type of answer I was expecting. Thanks for your help!
