I spent 3 hours on the side of the road, out in the middle of no where, barely any cell service, 97 degrees, waiting on a tow truck to pick me and the bike up. Had a flat on the front and it spun the innertube inside the tire so I couldnt fix it on the side of the road.
I would have rather been any where else than the side of the road. Sad thin is in 3 hours only 4 people stopped, one was a sherrifs deputy, another was an old farmer who gave me 2 bottles of water. Another took me to the gas station to get some fix a flat before I realized that I had spun the tube. The last was an old farmer we sat and talked for a while about bikes, He has a goldwing that he has taken to Cali twice and a 66 panhead that he bought new.
I saw 15 or 20 bikes roll by but none of them even got off the throttle as they rolled by. So much for the biker community helping out.......
That is messed up. I stop for all bikes, no matter what kind of bike or rider. And have towed some, with a drop cord, lmao. No excuse for not helping out a brother in need.
