Nice job keeping the bike up. A good learning experience for you both I guess. I am sure he will be looking for bikes for the next couple of months anyways!

Vote for giving him a pass. Most people would have blamed the biker for taking up there space. He will most likely be paying more attention for bikes in the future. That is a good thing.

I don't like cops, but since he manned up I'd give him a pass. He knows he messed up, or he wouldn't have given you his info.

Give him a pass. We all make mistakes and he owned up to it.

You lucky guys. Even with such police officers not using their eyes you are better off than we in the Netherlands. I was oon the highway taken over by by a police car at the left, switched to the right, passed over a car, switched to the left again, took over again, turned sharp right and left the highway at the last moment, cutting a car completely off. Although I got the first 4 figures of his license plate, the driver was alone in civilian clothes and I good give an excellent description of the car and driver in my official complaint, I was by the rest of the police corps handling this complaint completely ****ed off. The car was not to find, nobody drove there and they adviced me to try another police corps. My respons that here in the Netherlands with a size of twice the city of Houston there would probably a central registration of police cars, was ignored. The bastards clearly covered their *******-collegue in civilian. Here in the Netherlands the police consider themselves as above the law and show sometimes fascist behaviour..
