Could be because you over torqued your valve stim caps.

The reservoir for your low beam must be empty. Stop by your dealer and ask for some headlight fluid, they'll know what amount to give you.

Did you check for excess moisture around the fender after the ride? Was there a larger than normal smile on her face??? JK don't get mad.

I'm guessing maybe the just maybe the filament went bye-bye.

Just be sure to keep the filament clean with lemon pledge this time, probably got dirty and burned out. If the pledge doesn't clean it good enough, you can use a brass wire brush.

Wow! The exact same thing happened to me. I mean it...the exact same thing.

I took your GF for a ride and my low beam went out. I am staying away from that girl in the future! (unless she calls again).
