Guys this may sound corny but I retired in July of 2009. That year during Oct, I took a vacation with my wife and daughter, first one in years, work always came first like most of you. We took 10 days to just travel and see parts of the country that we have never seen. We drove through LA., Miss., Alabama which were very pretty. All the people that we met were very friendly and helpful when I asked questions about thier area. We had a destination of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. I would like to say that you guys and girls that live in that area have one of the most beautiful areas that I have seen. I would have liked to rent a bike and ride the parkway around Bryson City, Maggie Valley and Cherokee and also Ashville but time restrained me from doing that. I did leave some money in Cherokee (Casino), there were a lot of bikes on the rodeway. I am not sure how far we were form the Dragon but did not have a bike anyway.
I know that this is not a discussion post but wanted to get my thoughts out to the fine folks that I met.
