I was told you should only be able to slide your hand in the leg. They should not be any looser than that. I want some of those full pant chaps to keep my butt warm too! I don't know how you would fit those.

I'm so sorry. I was having mental pictures.

No not leather pants. I've seen Chaps that zip on over your jeans but are full pants...cover the butt & crotch where regular chaps do not. The are just like leather pants except they zip on and off like chaps. I've got to find me a store around here that carrys them.

These are leather pants, however they are zippered up the sides, sounds like what you are looking for. Looks like a Xmas gift to me.

Would be rediculously hard to clean after flying through a mating-patch of lovebugs. However, that alone could be a new biker fashion trend..

Heather,
I bought a pair of these over pants from Jamin Leather, I like them.
http://www.jaminleather.net/prodinfo.asp?number=MP506

they say to order one size larger than your normal pant size and that seems about right. They are a bit snug on my thighs but not uncomfortable. I think the next size up would be too big. they felt a bit snug at the waist but then I remembered I was wearing a belt[:-]...I think after a few miles and perhaps a rain shower they'll be perfect

Jamin also has free exchange for sizing within 30 days. I paid $99 plus about 11 bucks shipping.

best advise is buy leather pants if you ride in cold weather your crothch will freeze, pluse unless your a woman with a size 4 waist, you will look alot better in pants than the villiage people look
