Watch out! Friday night I had the unwanted experience of running into a woman cager.....literally. She decided to make a sudden lane change on Thornton Rd. near Hotlanta. I hit the left side of her car when she jerked her car over into my lane so quick I could not avoid her. The impact sent the RG out of control briefly but at the point I knew I was going down because the bike was leaning way over it stood back up & I was able to safely stop the bike & give the witch a really strong butt chewin. Her other half was with her & neither would get out of the car till the county mounties got there. Thankfully I was able to ride away when all was said & done with a bent crash bar, broken fairing & trunk. Now the fun begins with her insurance co. Thankfully also there was an eye witness who verified to the GSP that the cager was at fault. That was a whole lot more excitement than this guy needs in one night. Ride safe out there ya'll it's a zoo out there!
That could have ended so much worse. You may be right on the divine intervention. Good luck with the fixin'er up part. Glad you're here to ride another day.
I grew up riding in northern NJ/Manhattan (NYC). I rode in atlanta once and I have to tell you it scared the hell out of me. Now that has to make you think, doesn't it. Riding in NYC at 4am is pretty damn scary when you have two taxis operated by towel heads who apparently are having a disagreement as they are rubbing (cabs contacting each other) and trying very hard to run the other off the road....all within 50feet of my motorcycle.

Sounds almost like my last riding experience in ATL. I was following my father in law and a toyota pickup saw him pass and then changed lanes without looking back for another bike. Luckily i saw him in time and squeezed the bike into that little shoulder area between the lane and those stupid concret barriers. Made sure my wife gave him the one finger salute as we passed him. Glad to hear your experience didnt end much worse.
Once I find a suitible payin job in East Tenn. I'm outa there . I only come to the Atl. area for work. I'm on a 4/10 schedule so I only have to endure it 4 days a week. I anxiously look forward to when I can be home every night in the mountains and away from the Atl. insanity.
