Good to see you didn't really get hurt. Welcome to the forum, it's too bad your first post had to be a bummer, but it should get better from here. And post of pic of your bike when it is healed.

My buddy's stuff was just repaired parts off his bike and painted. My tank and front fender could have been fixed and painted but estimate was for pre-painted new HD stuff so that's what my insurance company paid for. Both estimates were done at the same place but we have different insurance companies.

glad you survived the fall..


I don't understand why HD dealers would send parts back to HD for painting or repairing, when a competent local shop could paint the same parts in a few weeks if that.
