Not that there is anything wrong with being gay. Dont ask don't tell right! God bless America.
So here's the issue. See for me, my HD represents freedom which is what America is all about. If I want to splatter my brains all over the hood of a Buick then let me do it.
Now the other day I am cruising shirtless (I like to show my tats if you know what I am saying) and I have on my beanie. Sure it aint gonna save me, but screw it this is America its my choice. Now up rolls this dude on his crotch rocket wearing full leathers and **** and its hot as a motha out and he starts preaching to me about my beanie. Where the hell does this clown get off. So I tell him that his gigantic helmet will give him a neck injury when he goes down.
Anyways I kick the rpms up a bit so I cant hear him anymore and I peal off around the corner.
This is America, where does this guy get off!

I think my problem is more with these guys on crotch rockets always preaching to me. What makes these ricers so snobby?

Helmets are a fashion failure, but do work on some accidents. I do not wear full face, nor will I, and when I choose not to wear any that should always be my right as well. There should be NO laws protecting me from my own stupidity.
That goes w/seatbelts too. Unless they can prove a high likelihood of me becoming a dangerous projectile in an accident (as I fly out the window), there is no reason other than government wants to control everything (no matter the unConsitutionality of that).

Why do people join and try to stir the pot with thier first post. You and the other guy were both dumb for conversing about it. In stead try saying somthing like "nice bike" or, "great day for a ride huh?" Go stir up trouble elsewhere.

I should add that helmet laws suck. I wear a crappy jockey cap backwards. Even still if you can't change the direction of the conversation. You should thank the person for trying to save your life. Some helmet believers seem to think they are evangelistic christians. Preech, Preech.
