Baffle Problem
I have a 2007 Electric gLIDE Classic i took the baffle out and cut about 5 inches off of both and put them back in. The mufflers are Vance & Hines Classic slipons dont like the sound can i weld them back together . I wanted louder got that but not happy with sounds and ideas of what i can do now.

Those are pretty thin to weld without burning through, but it's possible if the welder is skilled enough. You might also be able to braze them back together. But since you don't like the sound anyway look into some Rush or Big City Thunder baffles.

I asked this, because I engineered and tested a pair of stainless steel 316 adjustable dB killers, which come onto the market end of this month. This adjustable dB killers are engineered and designed to operate in three positions: 'normal', ' medium' and 'loud'. These dB killers are on my Heritage Classic now for six months and they work perfect. I can adjust with a T-wrench the dB killers even with a idle running engine. The only disadvantage is, that you have to stop, to climb of your bike and have manually adjust your dB Killers instead of electrically. But the difference in price of over 1000 US$ compared with electric adjustable dB killers makes me to accept this short inconvenience.
The dB killers are designed for 3" slip ons I apply them inside 3" S&S slash cut slip on's
The only limitation is that you must have a straight cylindrical) open end and a free space inside your slip on of 3" from the open side. Because they are shove inside the slip on's. The mounting is easily to do, just drill a 1/4" hole in your slip on, apply the bolt and the lock ring and if you want to be sure lock it with some Locktite 266 (heat resistant)

Interested? I will be on e-Bay end of this month.
