Plus one and great advice. They'll find a bunch of things "wrong" with your bike that need to be fixed in order to get the sticker. And they'll be happy to do the work for you $$$.

1+ for Waugh. Best service I've ever had. I ride past my two local HD shops just because they're the best.

I get mine inspected at the local Western Auto. I ride the bike into a bay and the inspector asks me to activate headlight high beam, turn signals, brake light and horn then asks me if there's anything wrong with my bike. He hands me a scrapper so I can scrape the POS sticker off my front fork and then gives me the new sticker to apply. 15 - 20 minutes in and out.

The idea is not to have any "tool" mess with it. The guy at the shop I go to asks me to do horn, brake lights, turn signals, and high beam. He never touches my bike other than to put the new sticker on. Also, I make sure the horn and bulbs are all good before I go in. Saves a lot of aggravation.
