Default Nitrous

I am thinking about running Nitrous on my bike. Does anyone have any suggestions or experiences with it? I am 90% sure I am going to use a Dry system and probably a Thundermax (Zippers). I have a stage 3 103" already with 10 1/2 to 1 compression with a forged piston, SE 251 cams and am making 110# torque and 104 hp already.I know alot of people are afraid of Nitrous but everything I read says it is perfectly safe when done RIGHT. It is the biggest bang for the buck as I would spend at least 3k plus more to achive 30 to 40 more hp. and probably would not be able to get those numbers out of a 103" anyway. Let me know what you think. Thanks

But then you'd be on a gay Suzuki sportbike like the little white gangsta kids at the mall foodcourt.

Even with the juice, you won't turn the horses of a stock sport tourer like a FJR or Concours. The Concours is turning 158 HP stock if I remember correctly.

I never understood people putting blown big blocks in Vegas and Pintos or making a station wagon 4wd and lifting it 30". (just dated myself) But...

It's your bike though, Do with it whatever your heart desires.

edit: A thought just occured to me. Who will you race? Almost all sport bikes will smoke you in a race even with the juice. Even those with saddlebags as pointed out above. And there really isn't a night racing scene for Harleys. Any Harley rider seriously interested in a race will see the bottle and know better.

Bull. You'd be on a big designed to make big power and speed. The 45 degree air cooled V Twin is not optimal for that. You don't see young guys (white gangsta kids?) on 'Busa's because they cannot afford the insurance. Gay Suzuki? C'mon man. Surely you can do better than that.

I have run n20 on many vehicles and I would lean towards a wet system mainly because that's what I've always ran. I know it's a little more involved when you already have 1 pump on the bike and then you would add another but I would feel better about the safety factor of a dedicated pump for the extra fuel and being able to physically have control over the fuel and n20 jets and not hoping that the T-Max does it correct every time. I will say this however, if you don't go completely stealth you will have a helluva time getting a race or when you do get a race and win you will get the " Well of course you won, you have nitrous, that's not fair!" Have fun and make sure you have a buddy with a trailer, at some point you'll need him.

This is my third time readin' your post, and for the life of me I just can't figure out why go to all the trouble. Just my opinion though.
What is your bike ? As much goodies that you have put into it, I believe nitrous could be your weak link in reliability of the bike. Especially after a bit of usage.

Damn near forgot!!!

Yo douche nozzle. You gotta a lot ***** riding a Fire Island Purple bike calling anyone gay. My son rides a Gixxer and I know his wife and son don't think he's gay either.

Come on now admit it... The only reason you ride a HD is because you don't have the intestinal fortitude <= ***** to ride a sports bike.

Go ahead I know you will have a witty retort. You know you want to.
