Marine for Life

Email from the local dealer about the annual Veteran's Thunder Ride came in today. I would up on the Rolling Thunder Site.

For those that have not see this thought I would share. The second video is of the Marine that stands Vigil at salute during the ride.

Having been there many times, I think it's a great way to let our vet know we appreciate their service. The Marine SGT has been paying his own way to come and stands there because he wants to. If you ever wanted a definition of devotion to duty, just see him. Even watching the video clip, I found myself touched and thankful . I'll never be ashamed when i get a goose bump when they play the National Anthem or to get a tear when I hear Taps. I hope the other forum members will feel the same way about it.

I support our troops. I hope you will too.

I have made the trip to D.C. for R/T several years. Also stop to visit my cousin's name on the Wall.

Been there, going back next year. This should be the one ride everybody does at least once.
