You got a money maker there. I'd but a signed copy of that picture too. I take mine off every now and again to rub a little life back into them. But locking the throttle and riding on the passenger seat.

I've seen that video a couple of times. That guy has to be the king of no-hand riding.

I'll go no hands if it's a highway and not much traffic around. It does provide a nice break for the hands.

Dog155, the next time you do that, act like you're wrapping your arms around the invisible rider when you pass someone. lol

All it takes is just one off center bump or debris in the road and it's wobble time.

I have done it, but not recently for any distance, back in the 90s I rode to Albuquerque NM and rode several stretches without using my hands, BUT in todays traffic, you would be killed by some texting, talking, drunk driver.

I have a friend that rides an old 1940 Indian. On cold days on the highway I've seen him lock the throttle, lean forward and put one hand down on each cylinder to keep his hands warm. He can ride like this for miles......... also on one of the motorcycle mania movies (can't remember which one) Jesse has both hands in his lap for quite a ways on the freeway. Doesn't seem like a particularly smart thing to do but not all that challenging either.

Its a nice way to see how true your front rim is running.
Yep out west no problem, my best is like 40 miles or better. Does freak people out sometimes.

p.s. larry used to stand on the seat, little different.
