I prefer textile over leather. Lighter, more water resistant. Just as warm.

Nice looking jacket. I have two HD jackets and they aren't cheap but they make a very functional product. This one sounds good - the zip-out lining makes it suitable for various temperatures (and thinsulate is light-weight and, well, thin); the Scotchlite piping really shows up at night and the other features seem like they would make riding easier - tight-closing collar, cinch straps at the waist and cuffs to stop the dreaded parachute effect, a long tail and good vents.

As for leather, modern denier nylon wears as well, is lighter, more water resistant and when it does get wet, it dries faster.

Wear it in good health.
