Hey all,
Hopefully this hasn't been asked yet but anyone hear of any problems Harley is having with their new touring frames specifically the 09. Someone mentioned they were having handling issues due to cracks in the frame. My ultra seems fine but I wanted to get a handle on it before the warranty runs out.
OPs first post is about a magical fault with our bikes that no one has ever heard of that we all need to worry about?
I wonder if he really meant to warn us about a bearing that will go bad?
Thats it, a bearing that will go bad and all replacements are backordered... yeah thats the ticket.
Oh yeah, and don't forget the part about getting the fault that isn't there fixed before the warranty runs out.
Do these guys use a script?
Sorry guys I really didn't mean to cause any trouble I was legitimately looking to see if anyone has heard of anything. I heard the director of our chapter talking with another officer talking about an issue he had heard about from the service manager at our local dealership. I didn't get a chance to get more information from him and I only wanted to see if there was something going on. I don't know what a troll is either.
No troll guys...he does own an 09 Ultra and I have ridden with him some time ago although Mark probably doesn't remember me. Goose from the NH VTX Riders Mark
