Going home yesterday in the cage, I noticed 2 bikes behind me. One was a HD bagger riding my bumper and the other was a few lengths back and a few lanes over. Traffic (rush hour) was moving but crowded. I decided to stay put because he guy behind me was pretty aggressive and I didn't want us to both change lanes at the same time and put him in jeapordy...and also I didn't really have enough room to move over.
He finds his spot and nails it to go around me. He passes me and makes a motion. I don't know if he flipped me off or what, his vest said Scorpions. Thats all I could see since he was on an Ultra. I immediately focused on where the other bike was and he was also right behind me now and passed me. The bike was a BMW with "suitcases" and his shirt said Police. He went by too fast for me to see the tank or notice if it was an actual motorcop. The "police was right on the Scorpions azz, and I figured it was gonna be a bad day for the Scorpion, but then passed him using the same lane as the Scorpion rider and disappeared.
The questions in my head are these...
1. A MC guy riding an Ultra/ I thought thos guys don't ride baggers.
2. If truly police why would he ride like that when passing another bike?
clubs ride whatever they want to (american vtwin of course), but not sure why he was riding like he was (on your tire) or what the beemer was up to - if it was just a tshirt he was wearing maybe he was driving to training or something like that since they do a lot of practice and maneuver training
