saw these guys at the vegas show last weekend. Windvest anyone know anything about them?
the plexi was pretty heavy duty. seemed like good construction.
2 things i didn't like:
1-price. little steep for the amount of shield your getting!
2- mounting. it mounts to the bars, which is ok except for the fact that to take the screen off, you unbolt if from the clamps on the bars. which means the clamps stay on the bars wich i don't like so much. he said that you could just take them off by the clamps. wouldn't be as fast and slightly more involved (w/ the clamps comming apart into 2 pieces). but since i will only use it for longer rides and be without it more often than not (only have it on there maybe once or twice a month) that will be ok.
I've had mine for a while, probably got about five thousand miles on it. Once I got it adjusted to stop the buffeting it's been great. It knocks most of the wind and bugs off. Took it off once and put it back on after a coupla days. Think I paid 270 with free shipping from coolwindshields.
