I bought my 2010 RK in April, the dealer looked all over and the only one he could find was at another dealership. All this time something has been bugging me and I finally put my finger on it, thanks to this forum. The bike came with laced wheels and from what I see it should have had mag wheels or something. Anyone ever come across this? Anything I can do about this?
The laced wheels are an option, have the dealer look up your VIN # on HD Net and it will tell what it was "born" with. I've seen dealers swap wheels, paint etc. just to get a sale.
You get what you get in this case... when I bought my bones it was a completely stock X-bones with everything you would expect. I went back to the dealer the next week and they had a bones with passenger pegs, new running lights, crash bars, passenger pillion, sissy bar, ect ect.
Whatever the dealer gets in is what they will sell you unless you can make a deal while you're buying it and get something ordered and swapped on delivery.
