C&C seats
Does anyone have a C&C seat with the gel insert? I have the solo seat with the foam and it is nice, but I'm looking for a 2up with the gel and was curious what you thought. How do they feel, how does it compare to the regular, how many miles have you put on at a time without a severe case of monkey butt? Don't know if I want to spend the 500.00 for a new one with gel if it isn't worth it.

The topics are so subjective and opinions are very personal
I don't agree with the Doc. I have the Sport Tour C&C with the gel insert, and I've tried 4 other seats that don't even come close to the comfort or quality of the C&C. Mine is made of leather also and the combo makes this the best seat by far that I've ever used. The next guy may not agree and thus the problem with buying a saddle without being able to try it out first. It's the same with exhaust so you either take a chance on a few opinions from strangers or stick with an 'off the shelf' seat you can try out first. C&C have an incredible product but in the end, it's a crap shoot.

I have their low pro solo and I like it, but it's a little uncomfortable after a few hours being on the bike, but I'm sure that is the case with any seat. It doesn't have the gel insert, so that's what I'm more curious about.

I don't have much to compare with other than the crappy stock seat but have the fastback 2up with gel and find it very comfortable. When you get off the bike after hours of riding and your back/butt is not an issue, I guess it's doing it's job.

I run a C&C as well. I don't find it hard at all. This is teh third seat on my bike and it is far more comfortable than any of the others. The gel will make it softer but gets really hot when sitting in the sun. I can get you a C&C at a discount too!
