The controller is also the on/off switch. The gloves don't have an on/off switch. You'll have to unplug them if they get too hot which could be quite a hassel while your riding
they have an on/off switch, a single temp controller for dual outputs, and a dual temp controller for dual outputs
i got the "on/off" switch - i don't have to unplug them, just keep turning it all the way on, or off
the problem with the single temp controller for two accessories is you may want your gloves at a higher or lower setting than your jacket - I think the single is about $70 and the dual was $90.... but the on/off was $15 so for me its an easy decision while i try out the new gloves
just got them today, gotta wire the switch to the battery then hopefully enjoy some nice long rides!
I have no clue how cold it is. All I know is you wont get me on the bike right now to save my sorry french ***, which only means : it's friggin cold. Gotta love New England in December.
I went for a spin on the Ultra last weekend here in Maryland. I saw one other biker - a crotch rocket - and the rider was too bundled up to even wave. Man, am I looking forward to spring already...

Dammit!
I'm gonna get the gerbings hybrid gloves. I don't want to have to harness anything around my bike...doesn't seem very practical especially because I commute with the bike so my rides 90% of the time are under 30 minutes....but can be many of those trips a day :-)
