I have that identical lift from HF. It is a little shaky at top and when you lower it, you have to be very careful and slowly release the pressure or it will suddenly drop 3 inches.

Default lift

like I stated befor I have this exact same lift, have had it for about a year and a 1/2 and if you get your bike centered on it it works and works good problem is when you get it lifted up high enough to take a wheel off its abit wobbley but its in the lift arms that has the sway and when you have the bike lifted you can wiggle the bike and watch those supports sway. To eliminate that I went to a metal fabricator had him make me two of the upper (long) lift arms from 3/8 thick by 2" angle iron I also found it was a bit combersome to try and and move ( you have to pull it back which lifts the front end up to get it to roll So again I took 4 pieces of 4x6 by 3/8 thick steel welded them on the four corners and attached swivel castors with locks on the front and plain castors with locks on the rear now you can move the thing around and position it a lot more easily.(this raised the jack about a 1/4 no big deal) As far as the bolts it came with grade 5 bolts so I didnt mess with em so in the end its a lot more stable its more easy to position and it cost me less then 75.00 to me its worth the money but I'm not going to lift my bike and walk away come back in two or three days and see if all is well!!

People anything that involves raising a large heavy object up off the ground can be dangerous , use some common sense when doing so and 99.9% of the time the world is a happy place . The little HF yellow and red jacks , I've used them for yrs now with no problems but I also put the bike on a homemade version of this when there's a few hours of work to done or it's going to be here a while . Rock solid no wiggle or jiggle , can pull wheels , frontend or just roll the bike around for storage in the winter .

K&L 460mc Dolley
You can get this for around $250 or if you or a buddy can weld my last one cost me $40 casters steel and all .

Quit sniveling and use some common sense please
