Looking for my first Half Helmet. I want something that is DOT approved but I don't want something that is bulky & ugly looking. I don't know anything about these types of helmets. I use to ride sport bikes & still have my full face helmet but need something different for my new to me Night Train. What are some of the good one's out there. My buddy bought a cheap one but it looks funny because of how bulky it is on his head. Are they all like this?
check out the Bell Drifter. I ts got removable ear flaps and velcro strips inside to adjust fit.pretty comfortable but I ride behind a fairing so Im not sure how it will handle wind.
Thumbs up agan on the Bell Drifter. It is very comfortable and has removable ear flaps for cold weather. I also have one made by HCI that is a liitle smaller on the outside I wear it to work and back, it looked dorky at first but once you rip of the visor, instant 50's rocker.
I ended with the leather up 1/2 and the Rockhard 3/4. Already posted pics and thoughts on the first one which is great and now waiting on my Rockhard to come (context!)
