In this case it could mean the number of years since this thread was first posted. The 13 probably meant unlucky to begin with, that's all. You know, the 13 steps to the gallows and the 13 knots in the hangmans noose(whether real or imagined).

Holy crap, I googled, oldest thread in the known universe and it sent me here!

By the way 13 is my favorite number. For all the reasons stated. Some remind me of past mistakes some remind me of past fun. It's on my helmet and on that cover on the side of the motor that in times of old held a secret device called "points".
