Yes, it's considered a Bagger.

As a touring bike, it is considered a "Bagger". I suppose, since they have saddlebags.

Not sure if the Heritage Classic is considered a bagger though...don't think I ever heard of one referred as anything other than a Heritage or a Softail.

My Heritage came with bags, so I guess it is .... although I've never heard them referred to as 'baggers.'

Yep, although such bikes were only called "baggers" in recent years. Before that, depending on your feelings toward touring models, they were either "dressers" or "garbage barges".

Dressers from the term 'full dress'

Old terminology would be baggers are of the 'T' or 'Touring' designator....as in FL-T such as Electra-glide.

So Roadglide, Road King, Electa-glide, Street Glides.

Hertitage fails into Softail, so most do not consider it a bagger.

Go figure, in the OLD days minus the bags and fairing the bikes were the same. Same frame same forks and etc. Save a narrow glide fork on Super-glides and Low Riders. If you get real picky, FLH did habe a lower first gear transmission.

Well you do know that the FXRS-SP you have it the pre-runner to the Dyna family.......

And the basis for the FLT that came to follow. Same primary cover, transmission, rubber mounts, etc......

I got a Cycle World somewhere, they took a Shovel FLT, entered the Baja 1000, placed like 13th over all, first in the 1340cc touring class, there are even pics of one, minus the tour pack, crossed up mid air at least 13 feet off of the desert floor!
