Laguna Beach, as well as several of the local canyon areas, got flooded during the storm. There was still a lot of mud along PCH, but they are doing a good job of cleaning up the area. Every couple of years we are reminded the SoCal is not set up to get a lot of rain.
The snow, rain and maybe some ice are supposed to be here in Southern Ky before tomorrow morning. The roads were dry, they put the brine solution down yesterday getting ready for tonite, it got up to 34 or 35 around noon, and I couldn't stand it any longer.
Put on everthing I could and rode to a local family resturant, that I frequent, and had lunch. It was not too bad and I smiled all the way, even if it was only about 10 miles. It had been about 4 weeks since I had been able to ride any. Still smiling.
