Smile Die Cast Or Something Else?

I am looking to replace my polished chrome primary and cam cover. Is it a good idea to use die-cast chrome alum aftermarket products or is something else better? Thks for your answers.

Billet aluminum 6061 or 7075 would be stronger and more expensive but dont see why die cast would not be ok.

The stock ones are die cast. Harley has more die castings on there bikes than new cars have.
Die cast replacements will be fine as long as the plating is good.

They're just covers, there's no mechanical reason to get billet ones. You might like the look of a billet one better - machined designs, etc.
