Who can say what's really going on in fashion business? I won' t wonder if the label in this Pakistan leather jacket will say " Made in the State of Wisconsin....(lol)
People over there are big on copying trademarked/copyrighted stuff. We used to be able to buy Oakley and Ray ban glasses for $10 or less and I've seen the Harley Davidson "Classic Cruiser" jacket, poorly copied in Pakistan, for sale at the Kabul Intl. Airport bazaar.

Income level? My wife and I have about 5 Schott jackets between us and only 1 cost over $100. The really nice one I wear to work most days cost $30. I also have a couple of Excelled, US made biker jackets that cost under $30.

Made in AMERICA, build to outlast any jacket on the market.

For that cost and company I dont think you can go wrong.
Get what fits and what you can afford and ride.

Take care

i always find it ironic that guys own 20K+ harleys and think $300 for a leather jacket is just too far out of reach. i don't care AT ALL what anyone wears, i couldn't possibly care less don't get me wrong. but i hear this all the time and the guy owns a 2010 street glide with every option possible...

my experience is you get what you pay for nearly every time.

That's a big "if". Can you tell all of that from the picture? And of course you'll trust the sellers self serving description. If it is all that, then by all means get it. That's a very attractive price point. But as others have said, you usually get no more than what you pay for.

Yup.

If we are going to save manufacturing in this country, there needs to be a shift in mentality. Instead of buying many cheap versions of the same thing for instant gratification, we need to make a shift to saving up money and then buying ONE quality item, take care of it, and keep it forever.

Now, I've not seen the jacket in question, so maybe this does not apply.

But save up, buy one american made jacket, and keep it for the next few decades. That's my philosophy anyway. I don't buy into the disposable culture of consumerism.

that's my mentality for some things like boots, i can buy a pair of $300 red-wings and wear them for literally 10-20 years or buy a new pair of crap boots every two years for 15-20 years. this is how people operated back in the day, people didn't own 15 cheap versions of everything, they owned one quality made pair.

<rant>some things in this country you just have no choice, i want a computer or smartphone well i'm not buying american, american company yes, but not made here. for the things i do have a legit choice on i try to not only buy american, but buy from local merchants and support my local economy as much as possible. if everyone banded together we could make a real difference in this country, unfortunately most people just pay lip service to "buy american" and the multi-national corporations can keep feeding us cheaply made garbage (sometimes dangerous products) made by slave labor. </rant>
