I left the clamp off and put part of a Harbor Freight floor wheel chock on mine. This is very stable and only needs two straps.

For the price you cant beat them, and after looking everywhere I cant find anyone who has had any real issues... there are alot of naysayers out there who have no knowledge of this lift though...

I was there last week and thought they looked pretty nice. Good to see it working.

I bought one of those lifts last year to rebuild my Big Dog on. It worked very well. I've had my Street Glide on it also with out a problem.

Great lift. I got mine with a coupon discount from American Iron for 279.00 out the door. I would avoid strapping across the seat as shown in the picture.

Those aren't a bad lift lift for the price , I've had one with heavy use for 8+ years now . I've got the air / foot pump combo with the better tire clamp . They are pretty stable I've moved mine around a bit with a bike on it up in the air . Only thing I'll suggest is letting the lift settle down on the safety bar and then cut a couple wood slates 1"x3" to same same height to use as rear safety bars when a bike is going to be on it for a while . I made a set for high and low stops . I do a lot of work for other people it just looks better to them I've been told .

I have the lift for over 3 years now and it works great, I did replace the front wheel chock from one also sold by HF. It really stabilizes the bike and you really don't need to strap it down. I do though for extra stability. I moved the wheel chock all the way forward, had to drill a couple of holes to make the chock fit. If you don't move it forward you cannot get the rear wheel to drop free it you need to remove it..Enjoy the lift.....
