Detachable rear seat back, chrome passenger running boards, moved the rear (replaced) pegs to the crash bar with new 360 degree highway pegs mounts, 1K service and a couple of bandanas. Got 20% off a couple helmets and gloves (fingerless of course).
also on cars and trks they offer 0 percent interest cash back, ect try and get cash b ack from harley when your paying retail or retail plus, you expect something i do, also they average 4 to 5 grand on bikes and you can buy a car or trk for invoice
I got a $500 cash kick back from the salesman. His story was that he was one sale away from getting a huge bonus for the quarter. He called me out of the blue one day and made me the offer if I would pay for bike that day. Five hundred bucks is five hundred bucks so I took off from work a little early and went and paid for it. I was going to buy it anyway just three or four weeks down the road. One month later he called me and I went and got my cash from him.
well i thought i would get something,i bought a new ford edge and gave me a bbq gas grill and a 42in plasma tv.i buy the bike and got nothing not even a t-shirt with there name on it. i asked for a windsheild he laughed so i said how bout that 100 dollar jacket and he laughed again,so when im ready to buy another new bike ,i will go in there and laugh in his face, sorry buying one from another dealer.sorry bout your comission, hope you eat BONE SOUP THIS MONTH.....
nope and I never tried. I have never understood why people expect or try to get things free when they buy a bike. People don't get free things when they buy a car or a house or anything else like that. It only seems to be bikes that people expect free stuff when they buy, why is that?
I remember the OLD days...my Dad bought a new 1972 Ford Torino and got a 19" colored TV with the sale.
I bought a used 2000 Fatboy from Rossmeyer Harley in Daytona (before the old man died)...I got two free t-shirts....then a box of cookies in the mail.
2 T-shirts probably cost them nothing....but put a lasting image on me.
Good customer relations...
I go there every Sunday (missed today though)....always looking for my "Next Bike".
IMO they SHOULD give you a T-shirt, why not, you are sponsoring them! I refuse to buy an HD shirt, if they want me to advertise for them, they can give it to me, Im not going to pay them to advertise for them!
25% discount on any parts/accessories, t-shirt (free advertising for them) & sweet rubber keychain (also w/dealer logo - more advertising). Didn't expect anything - my deal was on the bike sale price.
