Default 2011 York Open House
Has anybody heard if Harley is going to have open house this year at the York plant?

I cant say for sure but I sure hope so also. Sort of the same each year but I always enjoy a trip there and a nice ride for me. Lets hope with the economy getting better they can do thins again. Need another HOG pin

Too early to know. Last year open house was cancelled. You can still do factory tours during the week.

I went in 2009 and didn't realize that it may have been the last year. I enjoyed it along with all the activities going on that week.

According the events calendar on HOG's site there is a pin stop at the open house this year. September 29, - October 1, 2011

It's a drive by open house?
Didn't the Factory have a big to do years ago???????

i was there the next to last year that the Fairgrounds had stuff goin on...it was $5 to get it...then somebody got greedy the next year, and it was $15 for one day or all three...and the 5 dealers were on the Factory grounds instead of the Fairgrounds..i heard they were changin their tune because not many were payin the $15...the next year the Fairgrounds didnt have anything...
last year there wasnt any Open House...

Sure hope this is right. Liked this reason to go for a nice ride and see some sights and things around the area. Keep our fingers crossed.

They havent nailed down plans yet, they are reconfiguring the plant and dont know if it will be done on time. If it does happen the tentative dates are Sept. 29 - Oct 1.
