Deluxe and Cross Bones gets my vote, which also happens to be what is in our garage. The wife's Deluxe and my Cross Bones.
Sweet two really nice bikes in the same garage! Im actually thinking of buying ether one of those leaning more toward the Crossbones tho! What one rides or handles better in your opinion?
I guess to some extent, most newer Harleys still have nostalgic ties, some more than others, of course. The only real departures from at least "looking" like old school Harleys in recent years would be, in my opinion, the FXR, Buell and V-Rod. Most others are modern updates with a nod to the past as far as styling.
The Sportster. Basically unchanged in looks (the base models) since 1957
Wow ... that is a beauty ....
... but, why doesn't the MoCo do a 'nostalgia' Sportster with the covered tins (concealing the speedometer in the top of it), big headlight, the full front and rear fenders and covered shocks ...?

It would have to be chain drive, nothing but headlite, tail light, with straight pipes. No fancy add ons. The way it should be! If the law allowed. Its only illegal if you get caught.
