Question Methanol in Gas
The latest I read regarding Methanol is that the EPA is considering increasing the percentag from 10% to 15%. Is that cause for concern regaring our beloved rides with high compression motors?

We can't burn it. Only passenger vehicle's 2002 and newer. The epa approved this several weeks ago.

it sucks with all of our engines, running marine formula sta-bil in mine, have had problems with all my carbed engines, its like this **** turns to glue in a couple of weeks.

I think you some how combined the ethanol article and the meth lab bust down the street..

been running 10 percent for years now ..
doesnt get as good of mileage, but no problems with carbs..
You must make sure your fuellines are alcohol resistant..

still a american ripoff..good only for the corn industry..does not /has not reduced our dependance on foreign oil

Methanol has not been used as commercially available fuel in the US. Ethanol has been the alcohol of choice. Hence the E85 name.
