Funny Stories.
After buying my first HD (2011 Fatboy Lo) last month, I just finished gearing up for it. The lid I very much liked and chose didn't quite fit right due to a big pumpkin of mine. So yesterday, I decided to 5 o'clock shadow my head for the right fit. When I got home, the ol'lady looked at me with the 'WT* look' and said why did you shave off that beautiful hair of yours. "For the bike of course" I replied.
Anyways, I know it's not really that funny but it did make me wonder what kind of crazy stories our member's have when it comes to their bike and sacrifices.

Closest I've got is that I typically spike my hair up a bit & hate how it looks after getting mushed by a helmet, so I'm considering carrying a little travel-sized bottle of gel around (now that I have a bike with bags)

On the way home from visiting my mother-in-law in Texas, we stopped for a couple of days to visit our daughter in Salt Lake. At the time I had a pony tail and bushy beard. I went for a putt by myself and got a wild hair up my *** to make a change. Got my hair and beard cut very short and bleached blond. My wife heard me in the garage and when she came out to check on me, screamed and started to run. Took her a minute to figure out it wasn't a home invasion.

Wife always wants/ed me to grow my hair out. I went TDY (military way of saying "buisiness trip") for a couple weeks when my first daughter was a baby. Koreans belive that you should shave a baby's head at 100 days old, so it will grow back thicker. Well needless to say, when I got home from my trip, my little girl's head was bald. I went in the bathroom and broke out the razor not to come out until my head was bald too. Wife got mad, haven't let it grow out in over 12 years. High speed, low drag.
