Exclamation D.C.Ride 3 March

This post may be better suited in the Political forum but wanted to start somewhere.

On 3 March between the hours of 1 and 4 pm local time, the Islamic group "Islamic Thinkers Society" is planning a march near the White House in demonstration of adopting Sharia in These United States.

Sharia

I would like to see how many riders from NoVa, Maryland, PA, WVa, and/or other nearby States would ride in a counter demonstration?

I intend on being there.

I have better thing to do, like work, and make money. Have fun.

I would insert some kind of witty insult here, but the fact that you're not smart enough to put this in the political forum (fully aware of it's existence) tells me that any witty insult I come up with would likely be over your head.

Well, congratulations. I suppose you have better things to do than defend your country? I also have work to do, make money, take care of my family, etc. but I am chosing to defend the freedoms protected in the Constitution, something you may not have heard of. If you are too busy to do something as simple as provide support, then I presume you are too busy to help your neighbor or anyone else. Congratulations on being the single most selfish person around. What a gem.

I am indeed smart enough, but as this is not a political discussion, I chose to post where it would gain the most traction. In simpler terms, where more people would see it. I may yet post in the Political forum, as I have already done so in the Patriot Guard forum, but as I mentioned in the OP this is where I decided to start.

So launch away with your 'witty insult' as that is probably all someone of your ilk is capable of doing. As well, you would not be welcome at this type of event as there is nothing for you to gain personally, except the reclamation of your liberties.

So, your intention is to "defend the freedoms protected in the Constitution"?? My friend, as citizens of the US, this group of people (Islamic Thinkers Society) ARE protected by the freedoms of the constitution! In reality, by trying to squelch their voices, what you are actually doing is going against the very constitution that you claim to be defending.

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not defending the Islamic Thinkers Society or Muslims or any other political or religious group. I'm merely pointing out that under the constitution, they have the same rights as you & me.

Indeed they do and I am in no wise preventing nor prohibiting their right to peaceably assemble as guaranteed by the 1st Amemdment to the Constitution. However, as I have lived in Islam and understand the ramifications of Sharia, I completely comprehend the danger of such institution and how it is diametrically opposed to our Constitutional Republic.

What I am doing is adding my voice to dissent away from such an ideology. Unfortunately, the current administration has put its support in favor of Islam and the tenets that would impose Sharia on these United States.

If you can make it, it would be good to have you along.

"Unfortunately, the current administration has put its support in favor of Islam and the tenets that would impose Sharia on these United States." Here we go.
Is Sara Palin and Glen Beck going to be there? How about Rush? Come to think of it I would like to see Palin straddling a Harley in some assless chaps.
